Colin Lenkeit – Director of Field Services

Colin joined PPM on the very same day as Tawny in January 2005 – talk about a highly ranked recruiting class! Colin was naturally gifted at learning As-Built measuring, and for many years was the guy we would send to our very toughest projects. Colin has experience not only surveying but managing projects, working with clients, and developing business systems. He now manages our Team of As-Built surveyors as well as anything related to our work out in the field. Colin has always had an eye for detail and a penchant for accuracy – as Director of Field Services he upholds a high standard of quality and accuracy in PPM’s surveying to ensure our client’s projects get off to the best possible start.

Colin is a UC San Diego graduate, with a degree in Psychology. He lives in Lakewood with his girlfriend (whom he met when she briefly worked at PPM) and their dog. On the weekends he enjoys working on cars or any multitude of other projects where he gets to work with his hands to fix, modify or create things.

Greg Davies

Greg Davies – Director of Technology

In his professional life Greg has held paying positions ranging from paper airplane folding teacher to business development director for a Chicago tech company, which are but two points on a winding path that has always been inextricably tied to his final resting place at PPM. Currently serving as the Director of Survey Technology, Greg researches and tests LiDAR (laser scanning) equipment and the accompanying 3D software while working with the PPM production teams to find the places where cutting edge technology can best support tried and true as-built survey methods. Greg has aligned his professional life with a desire to create new things that add a small degree of order to the universe. Greg started his professional career as a scenic carpenter and designer, and has since served as a draftsman, surveyor, graphic designer, project manager, and business manager for any discipline that might require orderly plans of existing conditions.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Greg’s life outside of work serves as the antithesis to his need for professional order. Guerrilla theatre productions, hosting mud wrestling charity events, mass naked bike rides with thousands of participants, leading the Chicago chapter of the Pillow Fight Club, and performing with Russian folk choirs in small rock clubs around the world are just a small handful of the types of events Greg participates in to restore balance. His partner in crime, Alyssa, is the primary reason Greg finds himself in California as he works and plays along side her as she pursues a PhD at UCLA.

When he’s not working in the field, he provides training and surveyor development as PPM’s Field Manager. His role is vital to continue to enforce our high level of quality and how to best gather information most effectively on site.

In Frank’s hours outside of work you will most likely find him spending time with his growing family or in the garage working on cars for fun.

Alyson Buyuklian

Alyson Buyuklian- Project Manager

Alyson grew up in California’s incomparable Central Valley, in the bustling town of Visalia. She reluctantly headed south in 2009 to attend Cal State Long Beach, where she graduated with a Bachelors in Consumer Affairs in 2013. Alyson held a few different jobs while attending school – most recently as a hostess at a sushi restaurant in Downtown Long Beach – before answering a PPM job posting for a Customer Service Rep in 2013. After finishing interviews, we knew she was the one when she just didn’t want to leave our office, despite our attempts to wrap things up! She hasn’t left since, but for brief periods of sleep and the occasional vacation.

Alyson is best known at PPM for 3 things: First is her difficulty in staying clean while eating. Second is her generally high volume level. And third is the myriad number of positions she has held in only 4+ years. Starting as Customer Service Rep, she then moved onto Customer Service Manager, Surveyor Network Manager, Sales Assistant, Assistant Program Manager, and finally the position she currently holds: Program Manager. In her current role, Alyson manages all of PPM’s nationwide As-Built surveying programs. She does an outstanding job of organizing, scheduling, tracking, and keeping her clients constantly updated on the status of up to 50+ active surveys per week. Alyson is a master at keeping things organized and moving along, so that her clients don’t have to worry about their As-Builts.

Alyson enjoys playing soccer, walking her dog, and listening to “horrible” rap and hip hop music. She is always looking to keep things fun at PPM!
