Do You Want to Learn and Use the Latest 3D Scanning Technology in the Field?
As PPM continues to expand, we are looking for reliable Scanning Technicians to join our team! Surveying opportunities are available near any one of our regional offices in Southern California, Northern California, Washington, DC, Seattle, and Miami.
Our surveyors are trained and skilled in the latest 3D laser scanning technology. As a surveyor for PPM, you will visit various buildings to gather measurements, drawings, photos, and other important building information. This information enables our production drafters to create accurate architectural As-Built plans. You are a critical piece of the process!
Every Project is Different
You will be provided with a detailed scope of work well in advance. In a typical week, you will travel to job sites, mostly in your regional area but occasionally other areas. You will climb onto rooftops and into attics and crawlspaces when required, documenting all aspects of a structure. You will interact with clients and site contacts, provide excellent customer service and proactively communicate with your team. Great customer service skills, organizational skills, communication, and reliable transportation are vital.
Here’s What our Team Has to Say
Lindsey Greene
Northern California
“In this position, we are typically the only ones who will see the client face to face. The clients are the reason that I love going into the field to measure. They share their stories about their house or lives and we get to be a part of their journey. Even if we have a short time with them, it’s exciting to be a part of their process. I love that my job sends me to some of the most beautiful homes and locations in the area!”
Ben Johnson
Seattle, Washington
“I enjoy the diversity of projects that I tackle. While most of my projects are single-family homes, I’ve scanned everything from casinos to museums to synagogues. This variety of projects keeps my day-to-day fresh, interesting, and challenging.”
Daniel Noble
Southern California
“A surveyor’s day at PPM is never the same. We are constantly moving. I enjoy meeting new people and the physicality the job requires. Surveyors are able to adapt to any building type and accommodate our clients’ schedules. I know our clients love our service and it makes me happy to provide it. I understand how important is it to get an accurate set of As-Builts.
